Help Musicians

"For 100 years, Help Musicians has been providing help, support and opportunities to empower musicians at all stages of their lives.
We’re an independent charity which aims to make a meaningful difference to the lives of musicians, offering a wide spectrum of support which includes:
  • health and welfare services
  • creative development funding
  • ground-breaking research
  • a mental health helpline for the entire music industry, and
  • an incredibly popular hearing health scheme which aims to prevent hearing problems that would otherwise bring musicians’ careers to an untimely end."

Youth Music

"We believe that every young person should have the chance to change their life through music.

Yet our research shows that many can’t because of who they are, where they’re from or what they’re going through.

Our insights, influence and investment in grassroots organisations and to young people themselves means that more 0–25-year-olds can make, learn and earn in music.

Youth Music is a national charity funded thanks to the National Lottery via Arts Council England, players of People's Postcode Lottery and support from partners, fundraisers and donors."

Drake Music

"Disabled people face many barriers to making music. There is a lack of quality accessible musical instruments and insufficient learning and performance opportunities.
Drake Music addresses this by putting Disabled people centre stage. We are:
  • working with Disabled musicians to co-create assistive music technology
  • training the first wave of Disabled music leaders to inspire the next generation of Disabled creatives
  • providing the best quality, lifelong learning opportunities for disabled music-makers from beginners to professionals."

Good Things Foundation

"Our vision is a world where everyone benefits from digital. We want people to be digitally able, equal and safe, so they can be happier, healthier and better off.

We:
  • partner with community organisations, creating impact, locally and together as a network
  • work with partners to provide free data to people in need
  • source and refurbish devices to distribute to people in need
  • improve people's lives, individually and at scale
  • inspire people and shape the future so we can all thrive in a changing digital world
  • co-sign free online learning resources to help people take their first and further steps online
